The Timber II

Needless to say, 2020 has been less than ideal. The past few months have easily been the most stressful and uncertain time in our lives. Running a brick and mortar retail store is difficult at the best of times. Throw in a couple of months of lockdown and it's nearly impossible. The only way we were able to keep this place going is from the loyalty of our customers, the support of our neighbors, and our dedicated clients. And for that, we are forever grateful.

Riding four wheelers around the timber.

A few weeks back, we managed to carve out a little time for a weekend trip. It was a much needed chance to take a breather and reevaluate what Fontenelle is going to be in this new world. So we packed up our fishing gear and headed to the Timber.

Historically speaking, camping trips are where all of our more "ambitious" ideas originate and this trip was no different. We have a plan, we have the know-how, and we have team to take this business to the next level. No spoilers but we have some huge projects in the works.

This year sucks. However, it has forced us to push ourselves closer to the place that we need to be. Silver-lining, right?

Long story short. The trip was amazing. Even though Asher couldn't keep sand out of the bacon.
